In 2019, Fénix Travel led, together with the Municipality of Honda – Tolima, a project aimed at the identification, valorization, and social appropriation of cultural activities, arts, and traditional crafts as pillars of the municipality’s living heritage.
The process enabled the recovery of Honda’s local identity, recognizing ancestral knowledge, artistic expressions, and cultural practices as strategic assets for local development and the construction of a sense of belonging. Through participatory activities with the community, the appreciation of tangible and intangible heritage was strengthened as an experience that is felt, lived, and passed on.
This project was consolidated under the concept “Honda, to live it you must feel it,” a narrative that connected culture, memory, and territory, and that today continues to be a reference for the cultural and tourism promotion of the municipality.
At Fénix Travel we design and implement cultural and tourism projects with a heritage‑based approach, capable of activating local identity, generating community appropriation, and creating solid foundations for sustainable cultural development and funding processes.
