At Fénix Travel we believe tourism is a powerful educational tool and a sector that truly contributes to the sustainable development of territories. That is why, in the year 2025, we led the implementation of a community‑based tourism project in the municipality of Ambalema, Tolima, where we accompanied the local community in the creation of authentic, creative tourism experiences with strong territorial identity.

Through a participatory process, we trained local service providers in customer service, tourism awareness, governance, leadership, and collective networking, strengthening local capacities, trust, and creating a shared vision of the destination. The project was implemented with the valuable support of Fundación Corficolombiana and in strategic partnership with the agency Tolima Travel, demonstrating that the articulation between the private sector, communities, and institutional allies generates sustainable and measurable impacts.
